“His transformation has been remarkable. He can go right, he can go left, he can shoot 3s, he can go off the dribble.
For the caliber of player he is, he is very unselfish. He makes winning plays.”
—PSU coach Patrick Chambers
-
“There’s really no one like him in the country. His ability to step out, pass, put it on the floor, shoot … he’s tremendous.”

“Frank’s a great player, he’s worked really hard. He can hurt you in so many ways. It’s easy to say how to stop him, but it’s really hard to do. He can dribble, and he’s not just a one-way driver. He can play in the mid-post, low-post, he can play on the perimeter.”
—Purdue coach Matt Painter
-
“A lot of people respect how good he is on offense, but he gave us problems at the rim converting with his length. He’s a terrific player.”
—Buffalo coach Bobby Hurley
-
“I thought Kaminsky was terrific. He scored at all three levels of the court, he made very difficult shots, he passed well. I’ve watched him play a lot and I certainly think he is one of the country’s best players.”

...Best player in the country...
"I've never been so impressed with a player in our league since maybe 'Big Dog' (Glenn Robinson). He's the most versatile kid that our league has seen in a long, long time. I would like to give my early vote that Kaminsky is no question the best player in the country this year."
